to the victims of the senseless killing in Connecticut, my heartfelt sympathy & my deepest prayers...may you all rest in peace with THE LORD...
Here in the north, I have dedicated all the single days of my life working with children in the school. Their boisterous laughter and innocent giggles bring joy & laughter to my sometimes dying spirit. Everything they do take me back to my childhood memories. Thier innocent cries, thier frequent fights, thier naive approach to life, their unexpected tantrums and thier funny ways of settling disputes & how they plead for forgiveness, "I am sorry" melt my heart away!. Thier constant huggings, thier tiny hands wrap around my waist brings me to a world beyond compare...

My Flowers...my Lovers...
A morning glory at my window, with expressions of countenance as much as men, an eternal seductiveness of life, whispering "beauty" as they fade, wilt & fall. More than pleasing to the eyes, as the fragrance linger in the air, magnifying expressions of perfection with thier vivid colors creating rainbow & exhibiting freshness on earth. God created them with so much perfection that man cannot grasp for the right words to express thier beauty...finding myself in solitude, sorrounded by " my lovers" taking me into a world of peace & calmness....

my purple miniture roses..
Adorning our kitchen is my beautiful precious purple roses, with the elegant poise of enchanted faires sitted in our dining table. They brighten up my day & give a cheerful atmosphere to all the corners of the green sorroundings. Flowers are why summer is worth waiting!

"my green thumb" a THOUSAND BUCKS worth of TALENT!
Green Thumb: A Thousand Bucks Worth of Talent
“As you walk down the fairway of life, you must smell the roses, for you only get to play one round.”

Alluring, intoxicating, and endearing – these are the words that would perfectly describe her.
Two summers ago, I embedded a few yellow roses whose perfume wafted throughout our veranda. Adorning the stem of each rose were atrocious thorns - thorns which ostensibly shield their lovely princesses and threaten unwelcome intruders with pinpricks of blood. On that twelvemonth, an insensate and blustery winter storm troubled us. Roses have their certain capacity when it comes to braving ruthless elements, you see (The sturdier a blossom is, the more she could endure inimical weather mood swings). Unfortunately, my princesses’ resilience was not as eminent as those that outlive winter. Hence, it could boldly be inferred that my roses would not survive the flailing of the winter season. One December morn a single bud kicking the bucket appeared to me. She looked at me as if she was calling for help. I watched her as she slowly shriveled to death - her leaves falling one by one on the cold and callous soil. She died. And I was impelled to let her remain in her pacific abode.
A few months after, the sun once again smiled at us. It was summer time. And I missed that little rose so much to the point that I desperately wanted to revitalize her. Thus, I decided to nurture the exanimate soil & assisted it with fertilizers. To my surprise, my darling princesses grew stronger as the days grew longer. Soon, six, humble and promising shoots rose from the ground! So proud of my “green hands” I called my hubby right away! After seeing them, he irksomely gave me a laugh and tried to persuade to remove the plant from the ground arguing that it is dead! He said with certainty that the buds were nothing but leaves! Feeling angry & desperate but with full of confidence & assurance, I made a handsome bet of 10,000 kroners! ( around $2000). Otherwise, I shall shell out that amount of moolah – which nobody in their sane mind would want to happen. And so, every morning, we visited our veranda to check on the buds. We would constantly stay there to unwind and he would huff and puff and brag that the time of my defeat is nigh.
A few weeks after, the buds magically bloomed! Well, anyone can guess what happened next…10,000 kroners landed in my “green hands”! What a wonderful feeling! I lifted my “green hands” & proudly kissed them with a winning smile! Funny, but my hubby refuse to go out in the veranda again!
Let me share to you the photos of my princesses:

The " beautiful lady"
Renowned as the perfect cone, considered to be the world's most perfectly formed volcano for its symmetry. A site that captured the world, considered as a part of the RING of FIRE. Absolutely stunning site in the province of Albay, located in the island of the Philippines. To add to the already incredibly beautiful site, is the ruins of 18th century Cagsawa church with its facade still standing in elegance and grace. The 1814 eruption destroyed the historical church which was built by the franciscan in 1724.
I feel in love with this volcano, towering above the earth in a mystical poise! The simple life with an abundance of love and innocence creates a feeling of warmth and contentment, a far cry from the hurly burly city life. I will not for any reason hesitate to visit the place again and again, she is indeed a beautiful lady one can feel in love once, twice and a million times!

The Way to the North
The scenery is beyond human grasp. Peace and tranquility linger in every corner. Everywhere my eye gaze I see green, the rich color of nature. Travelling is my life, I have been in many corners of the world, have seen spectacular places, have discovered the hidden beauties of the earth, but North of Norway is beyond compare!
No place conquired my heart and soothe my well being. I found myself in another world! Unbelievably beautiful! A paradise on earth! The atmosphere it creates is a Utopia! Finally I found the perfect place where I could dream in peace....

Tjøme...Light at the Edge of the World...
One can never utter a perfect word to describe this perfect amazing nature of GOD. The saffire blue and emerald colored ocean, in a place where one can hear the sound of silence. A place captured by beauty and poignant. The view was spectacular! beyond the grasp of human mind! A reminescence of the Aphrodite era.
